You are probably already aware that
GlobalScholar officially announced that they plan
to discontinue the Pinnacle Student Information
System and Pinnacle Instruction products
following the 2013-14 school year. They will be
fixing bugs during the interim period, but do not
plan to do significant enhancements to the
products from this point forward.
MiCase will reconvene the SIS Vision Committee
to do an RFP to look at the various Student
Information Systems available.
This information comes as a surprise, but we are
committed to using this as an opportunity rather
than a crisis. You can be assured that you will
have the MiCase team here to assist in any way
that we can.
We will continue to support Pinnacle SIS and
Instruction and will conduct training as planned,
and as needed.
